- Site Selection:
Before installing your auto lift, check the following:
- Lift Location: Ensure adequate space is available. The lift requires a 220V or 110V, 30amp, single phase, grounded electrical source.
- Overhead Area: Ensure there are no obstructions such as heaters, supports, electrical lines, etc.
- Floor Area: Inspect the site for cracked or defective concrete.
Floor Requirements:
- A level floor is recommended. Small differences can be compensated with shimming.
- If the floor slope is questionable, consider a site survey or a new concrete slab.
- New concrete must cure for at least 30 days.
Concrete Specifications:
- Must be installed on 3,000 PSI reinforced concrete.
- 8,500 lbs – 10,000 lbs lifts: 4" Minimum Thickness
- 11,000 lbs – 15,000 lbs lifts: 6" Minimum Thickness
